Prior to general practice, Riley completed multiple surgical rotations as a hospital doctor, with a particular focus on plastic surgery. He currently works as a procedural GP and also assists a number of surgeons across Melbourne’s major tertiary hospitals, maintaining a high level of surgical exposure and technical expertise. His practice is focused on comprehensive skin cancer care, combining meticulous skin checks with dermoscopic expertise and a broad range of procedures. Riley performs skin cancer surgery including excisions, flaps, and grafts, allowing continuity of care from diagnosis through to treatment.

He is known for a thorough and methodical approach, with an emphasis on early detection and achieving optimal clinical and cosmetic outcomes. Riley works collaboratively with specialist colleagues, including plastic and reconstructive surgeons, to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care when required.

Approachable and calm in his manner, Riley aims to create a reassuring environment for patients, recognising that skin checks and procedures can feel confronting. He takes care to ensure patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and playing golf.
